From the Feelings in the Heart to the Kaleidoscope of the City | Horizon Magazine
“If you've got the chance to talk with Jo, you'll instantly feel his passion for photography. His devotion attracted a group of photographers and photography lovers to support this project. "Many street photographers work in silos, why don't we join hands and support each other? This keeps the momentum going and encourages progress." he said. This simple idea led to the birth of Ménos and the photography journal. As the convenor, he also offers the members his camera shops Meteor HK to gather regularly and work on the project.”

Meet Joseph, owner of Meteor HK. To call his business a camera store would be an understatement. Yes he sells new and used cameras and lenses, film, camera bags, cases, straps, etc. There is a camera store but it's also his personal hang out. He works 7 days a week and he keeps most of his camera collection on display at the store. He showcases his personal collection of prints and books of famous and not-so-famous photographers he admires. Friends/customers drop in to say hello and good-bye. Please enjoy my conversation with Joseph as we talk about photography, gear, photographers and the future of Meteor in Hong Kong.
